How We Are Paid

We charge a fee for the preparation of a Strategic Plan. Our fee will depend on the nature of the services you need and may be based on a fixed dollar amount, a percentage of the amount you decide to invest, an hourly rate or a combination of these. We will always agree our fees and their payment method with you before commencing any work.

If you ask us to provide ongoing advice about your Strategic Plan and your investments, we will charge an ongoing service fee. This may be in the form of a monthly fee, a percentage of your investment assets or a flat fee. Where relevant, this fee will be explained in the Statement of Advice we provide to you.

If we arrange life insurance for you, ARC Wealth will receive initial and ongoing commission from the insurer(s) with whom we place your insurance. The amount will vary depending on the product but will be a percentage of the premium (excl. taxes and statutory charges) and will be included in the premium. The initial commission will range from 0 – 80% (incl. GST), and ongoing commission will range from 0 – 35% (incl. GST) per annum. We will tell you the amounts we and ARC Wealth will receive (or if we do not know, the way this will be calculated) when we advise you about your insurance requirements.

From time to time, we may also receive non-cash benefits from product providers such as sponsorship of educational seminars, conferences, training days or tickets to entertainment events. These are funded by product providers and are not an additional cost to you.  We maintain a register of any such benefits that have a value between $100 and $300. This can be viewed on request.

Who We Pay

Our advisers are paid an annual salary and may be eligible to receive a performance bonus if they meet pre-set agreed key performance indicators.

If you are referred to us by a third party like a solicitor, accountant or mortgage broker or through the website of one of our affiliates, we may pay the referrer a fee or other benefit for the referral. Information about any applicable fee or benefit will be disclosed to you at the time the referral is made.

This insurance meets the requirements of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and covers the services provided by us and our advisers after they cease working with us provided that we notify the insurer of all claims when they arise, and this is done within the relevant policy period.
